This title is in keeping with the recent influx of interest in trains at our house this month. Specifically Thomas.
Maggie brought her class bear home the first weekend of the month, then Bella the Bear (aka Mommy) had to journal about the weekend adventures. You can’t bring a special guest into our family without a quick trip to Dyersburg! When we got home we headed to the Stiver’s to watch the Super Bowl.

We also started Caterpillar Club again. This is Keller’s first session to participate. He is loving it, and I know he is learning a lot. The first class was about bunnies and this class was about owls. We also planted seeds and will have a picnic in April with our garden veggies. Mr. Drew has crafts, a book, an activity, and outside fun centered around whatever the theme is that week.

Maggie is finally progressing in gymnastics. By progressing I mean she will hang on to the bar and touch her toes to it. She is a head taller than any other kid in the class and they all flip over the bar. Not. Gonna. Happen. She wants to love it, she is just scared she will hurt her arms since we have been to he ER with them coming out of socket. Maybe she will move past it someday and gain some confidence in those arms, but it hasn’t happened yet.

It has been cold out, so we have been creative indoors. Had a visit to the "Disney Mall" (Wolfchase) and a quick lunch with Nanny. On Lent Maggie started getting sick so we skipped the Wednesday night service. By Friday it was a double ear inflection that she could no longer deny having. I gave up Facebook for Lent and so far I am not having withdrawals! We are also trying to reign in our nighttime routine. Needless to say, routine is not in the genes at our house. No one has ever complained about someone being go with the flow, right? We are doing better, though. Hopefully by the time Kindergarten starts we will have it down (as long as they don't make start time earlier).

I think this Valentine’s Day was the best ever. Maggie had her school party on the 13th (when she started getting sick). There were Valentine’s waiting in the mail from Texas, Georgia, and Tennessee. The kids and I got to spend the whole day together, and Mason joined us earlier than usual. We exchanged gifts (we got flowers, Daddy got a sign and an EPC Photography family photo) and ate at McAlister’s. Mason got Keller a basketball goal and we played kitchen basketball for a while. Showing some love and enjoying the moment is what this fam did.

President’s Day weekend we went to Dyersburg to celebrate our soon to arrive baby cousin Jonah Vincent. There were Valentine’s waiting at the Wilson’s and the Seaton’s. Now we are on to party planning for Maggie’s 5th birthday. Rapunzel will be reigning supreme here for at least the next two weeks.
